Example of earning for a turnover or fees of 6,000 euros is as
follows:
Commission deducted amounts to 600 euros. The
remaining 5,400 euros, represents the freelancer's salary,
social security charges and general expenses.
Taking a figure
of 600 euros for expenses (500 euros before tax), net
earnings will be in the region of 2,637 euros and expenses of 600 euros will be
reimbursed.
Thus our freelancer will be paid the sum of 3,237
euros, i.e. approximately
54% of his turnover.
